  1. Mary Frances Rauch says:

Thank you for this beautiful picture of the birdhouse and snow.

  2. Nielsen,Winifred T. says:

Just finished watching a Bard Owl out my window in my front yard. Immediately, 4 Blue Jays began calling and swooping over his head. Apparently, this is not too worrisome for the owl as he ignored them and kept hopping in the grass and swallowing tidbits for breakfast. Finally a car came by and he flew away. Wow, what a wingspan!

    • MaryJane says:

That’s a cool way to start a Sunday. Good morning Winnie. It’s minus 2 degrees here. Brrrr.

      • Nielsen,Winifred T. says:

Brrrrr, is right! We have had another above average weather day here. What is interesting about this part of the US, is that we are now finally getting our Fall color. The deciduous Oaks, Hickory, Southern Red Maple, and others are now sporting beautiful oranges, reds and yellows. They is mixed in the landscape with early blooming azaleas and Camellia bushes. Is there such thing a a “Fling Season” (Fall and Spring??)

  3. Bonita Bosch says:

    Closed for the winter.
