Employee Lunches

A few days ago, I posted about Ace’s lunch. She discovered a clever little way to take salads to work, croutons and dressing included. Here is what the complete version looks like …

The popcorn is from our regular Popcorn Friday. (Please note the enormous list of things-to-do sitting on Ace’s desk—the reason we need good fuel around here.)

So I did a little snooping to see what a couple of my other employees were doing for lunch. Carol, my lead designer, is always well-equipped. (With the help of my dear friend, Willie.) She has tomato juice in a jar, an apple, and a fabulous Hawaiian lunch box. You may already know this, but Carol loves the ukelele, and plays famously. Willie just loves the musically gifted.

Is this Hawaii theme and salad-in-a-jar catchin’ on? My graphic designer, Alicia, had hers all lined up to go, with her version of something Hawaiian. After all, it’s still snowing here.

  1. Julie says:

I saw the salad in a jar on pintrest, super great idea!!

  2. Marie Bucher (ReeReeBee) says:

My lunches usually consist of leftovers from last night’s supper. (always yummy, but….left over)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE using mason jars for just about everything. Thanks for the new ideas 🙂
I’m in Florida, so my lettuce is happily growing in a pot on the porch…salads are in my near future!
