May 6th is National Nurses Day, kicking off a week of recognition that ends on May 12th, the birthday of nurse extraordinaire, Florence Nightingale.

Think about it … nurses see us at our worst, help us when we most need it, and take care of us no matter what shape we’re in.

As a matter of fact, why wait?
I’m happy we have a special day set aside, but nurses—just like moms, who also have a special day coming up this month—deserve our thanks every day.
