Finally, a sorbet recipe without needing an ice cream maker! We don’t usually get seedless dark grapes until late September when they ship here from somewhere else. OU local dark purple grapes have very tough skins and seeds which makes great jelly. Would blueberries work the same way?Or is it the natural pectin level of grapes that makes this recipe work?
Blueberries will also work. I did notice that when we used grapes, the sorbet wasn’t nearly as good the second week after being in the freezer. Best to eat right after it’s done.
Great! I just bought a couple pounds of black seedless grapes and this sounds wonderful, especially as it doesn’t rely on too much sugar.
This looks so nummy. I love that it only has three ingredients. I’m going to have to try making this!
Wow!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing such an easy and wonderful recipe. It is going to be a must in my house. 🙂
Celebrating 17 years of marriage today with my sweet husband and am going to ADD this to our dessert menu and knock his socks right off! I will be using my organically grown blueberries instead though. Sounds easy enough…what the heck could go wrong? I might just get an extra kiss if it turns out anything like the picture! Glad I happened to visit you today Mary Jane:)
What’s a T in the ingredients?
Capital T is a tablespoon, small t is a teaspoon.

Good morning Jutta,
You can write to carol@maryjanesfarm.org and she can help you. Thanks for stopping by!
This sounds super easy to make and I love that it only has 3 ingredients, 2 of which I always have! When I make this I will be trying the blueberries first. Grapes tend to give me a tummy ache.
It looks tasty, sure is pretty. Maybe good for a quick dessert after a little tea party or something.
Thanks

I see you can use blueberries. What about strawberry or even cherries? Do you have a recipes for those?
We do not.
