  1. Jennie Stratton says:

I LOVE the incredibly handy and well-researched “How-To”s in your magazine! There always happens to be a tutorial that shows me how to do or make something that happens to have been on my wish/dream list forever!! (Like the outdoor bathtub article in the most recent issue!! Um, amazing!!) Thanks, Mary Jane 😀

  2. Christy Craver says:

I love the gardening ideas. I live in Alaska and have had a greenhouse and raised bed gardens for 3 years. Organic gardening, fruit and heirloom vegatables.

  3. Karla Earley says:

Trying to narrow it down to one thing is like trying to catch the ocean in a pickle jar. I have such a love for farm life and to read the stories is always such a memory popper. The pictures always pop out to me with such happiness attached to them. After I finish reading my magazines I pass them on to someone that is very dear to me, a 90 year old friend, that takes the pictures from the magazine and makes stationary attaching messages of encouragement.

  4. Teresa Dr Bruin says:

I love everything. I love to read the magazine from cover to cover. There are so many interesting articles. I bought my sister a subscription and she loves it as much as I do. She passed her finished magazine to a friend who later subscribed. I’m a country girl at heart and even though I live in town, I go to farmers market, do canning, freezing, cook from scratch and bake bread fro scratch. No bread machine for me.

I love how MaryJanesFarm seems to read my mind–for example, the “DIY Outdoor Bathtub” article in this issue. I’ve been dreaming of a backyard bathtub, but don’t have the budget for an antique cast-iron tub. A stock tank seems like the perfect (affordable) answer! Thank you, MaryJane!

  13. Miss Carole says:

I like everything about the magazine. The vibrant pictures to the great craft ideas all spectacular. The wait for the next issue to come out is the worst, and the best, because I go back and reread my back issues and find tidbits I overlooked the first time reading them. Keep up the great work.

  14. Becka Gagne says:

When I’m down and dirty from long days on the farm, a little sweety reminder of why I do this work is what I get from even just a quick look through Mary Jane’s farm…

  15. Christine says:

I turn to the newsroom section first every time. Then I read the magazine slowly, picking articles based on my mood that day, taking notes and stretching the experience out until the next one arrives in my mailbox!

  16. Mary Ann says:

I love everything about MJF except that it does not come every month. It seem so long between issues! I especially enjoy the “needle work” projects, quilting, embroidery, crochet, etc. I would love to win the “Coloring Book” for my son. He is 52 years old and still loves to color. It is not at all unusual to catch him sitting in the floor with his grandson coloring (bonding), huh? Thank y’all (you all) for your wonderful magazine. Keep up the good work.
