OVEN-ROASTED STEAK FRIES
PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 50 MINUTES
MAKES: 6 SERVINGS
2 1/2 lbs red potatoes (about 6 medium potatoes)
3 T coconut oil, melted
3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced (about 1 T)
1/2 t smoked paprika
1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
fresh minced parsley for garnish (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
2. Halve potatoes lengthwise and cut into 1/4” to 1/8”-thick slices. Add potatoes to a large bowl.
3. Add coconut oil, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; toss to coat.
4. Bake fries for 25 minutes, stir, and bake an additional 25 minutes or until crisp. If desired, serve with fresh minced parsley.
Gather ingredients.

How can you smoke paprika. Hate buying spices I rarely use.

Oven fries are then eat! We enjoy them when the fries whim hits.
@June La Valleur: you can buy smoked paprika in a spice bottle and use it just like regular paprika. It’s a great spice to have on hand, adds that little smokey, bbq flavor.
