I know this is past the deadline date…just thought I’d share anyway 😉 I have been feeding birds for years and recently moved from country life to the city and didn’t think I’d have as many birds. I was wrong. I have humming birds that come to my window feeder, a plethora of several birds at my basket feeder and my newest platform feeder brings in the blue jays and doves and red winged blackbirds. I have one jay bird that is very particular about his peanuts and will pick up and throw and the ground the “less choice” ones and another jay that will shove 2 in his mouth at a time. I love watching the interaction between the varieties of breed.
