Awe inspiring nature bringing the outside in with the beautiful display of wood and rosemary. I love rosemary, I grow it myself along with other fresh herbs to spice up my meals and give them a bit of a flare of taste and look.

Lettuce? I planted 2 pckts of bee friendly open pollinated wildflowers yesterday. can’t wait for them to germinate! Am planting a Dogwood tree seed tomorrow.. I have a 72 cell plastic seed starter with little sprouts starting, that is my food garden, I already have a veggie growing quite nicely already, (lost the markers in the last good storm here, so Idk what it is lol.) must be something that grows annually because I haven’t planted anything since 2015, I believe.

  2. terry steinmetz says:

    Spinach? It looks soooo good!

  3. Winnie Nielsen says:

I just got home from a St. Augustine Beach weekend and just in time to catch up on today’s news from MJF. Yes, your spinach looks very tender and delicious. It is one of our favorite vegetables because it is versatile and healthy in so many enjoyable ways.

  4. BB king says:

I eat a spinach omelet nearly every monrning to start my day, soon my own spinach will be ready.Yummo!

  2. BB king says:

And which darling calf is this? I do so love the Jerseys

    • MaryJane says:

This is my bottle-fed Ester Lily, born on Easter two years ago who is now 7 months pregnant with her first calf. She’s perfect in every way. Love her personality.

  3. Tracy Snyder says:

    Those eyes!

  4. Nielsen,Winifred T. says:

Look at at Ester’s sweet face! I remember her that May 2015 with her baby face and long legs. Such a darlin! Speaking of sweet faces, how is my Daizy these days? Give her some lovin’ from one of her greatest fans. She is my Girl!!

  5. Tammi says:

Ester Lily looks like she could be a good friend, with those beautiful eyes.

  6. CJ Armstrong says:

She reminds me of our 2-year old Longhorn heifer who was born naturally polled. She has a little top knot on her head like Ester Lily . . . instead of horns like our other Longhorns. She’s a redhead and her body is red and white Longhorn “polka-dotted”.

  7. Linda M Johnnson says:

Mooo… is the cow a jersey? Maybe Guernsey?.she is beautiful.

  8. Anne Lewandowski says:

    Cute!!

  9. Ginny says:

and which little darling calf is this? too sweet. I want to do a calf shower !

    • MaryJane says:

This is little Ian Magillicutty who just turned 4 months old. With the winter we’re having he’s a woolly mammoth. He’s Lacy Lou’s calf and Magnolia’s future mate. I agree about a calf shower. Great excuse for a party. You’re invited along with your feline buddies.

      • Lisa Von Saunder says:

OOOh, we wish we could! BB king and Earl want to meet all the calfs! You will just have to document it and put it here or in a future issue of MaryJane’s Farm. Give a hug to little Ian from us.
