Beautiful BALD Barbie!

Barbie has taken a lot of flack over the years. The brunt of countless jokes and the unwitting victim of scathing criticism, this deceptively dulcet darling has hung in there with her head held high.

Food Revolution Day

Ready for a revolution?!?

Grab your pots, pans, and plates, ladies … May 19 is Food Revolution Day!

Organized by the Jamie Oliver Foundation (You remember Jamie, right? That cutie-pie British fella formerly known as “The Naked Chef” …?), Food Revolution Day celebrates the chance to share your food knowledge, know-how, resources, and recipes.

Your mission in this revolution? To get back to basics or, as Jamie puts it, to stand up for real food.

And, most importantly, to help others discover the joys of healthy, fresh food choices.

If I know my farmgirls, you gals are all over this one already.

Inspiring change and living healthy … that’s kind of our thing, right?!

So, ready to revolutionize??

Again, I know what you’re thinking. That I’ve gone off my rocker. Not so …

Dear Diary,

It’s Day 1 of my Gratitude Journal challenge! You have no idea, dear diary, how difficult it is to write words in their entirety instead of shortening them to text-speak. But I am determined to break the habit, lol! Oh, drat. Well, anyway, this is all about being thankful, so here goes:

I am thankful for …
