One of them got the bright idea to surprise me by seeing if she could get Willie Nelson here to sing. She was working her phone one day when her caller ID lit up, W. Nelson it said. She picked the phone up … and then proceeded to hyperventilate. Willie, THE WILLIE said, \u201cjust breath, darlin\u2019.\u201d He said he\u2019d love to come; he\u2019d long been an admirer of mine; could someone pick him up at the airport? Apparently, once his peeps got wind of it, his travel schedule wouldn\u2019t allow it. That disappointment, lead to this \u201cfelted alive Willie.\u201d Where\u2019s Willie? He\u2019s right here.
