Can you guess?<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->It\u2019s <strong>cogitate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To think hard about something. To ponder it. To mentally turn it over, carefully and deliberately. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.howjsay.com\/index.php?word=cogitate\">here\u2019s how to say it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can use <strong>cogitate<\/strong> with or without an object. But please, allow me:<\/p>\n<p>With an object: After getting herself buried in an antique quilt avalanche, albeit a decidedly comfy one, MaryJane knew she\u2019d have to <strong>cogitate<\/strong> an escape plan.<\/p>\n<p>Without an object: Every time MaryJane goes to her friend Willie with a question about the universe, he <strong>cogitates<\/strong> about it and says just the right thing.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing. (Gotta love the silent type.)<\/p>\n<p>Now <strong>cogitate<\/strong> on this. How about applying your mah-velous minds to using <strong>cogitate<\/strong> in a sentence? Or better yet, use it when you speak today.
