(Last month, mom showed you how to smoke your own fresh-caught salmon for her oh-so-heavenly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raisingjane.org\/journal\/17422\">Sweet &amp; Smoky Salmon Zucchini Rolls<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Today, we gather up\u00a0molasses and coconut to make homemade graham crackers. Aren&#8217;t your friends going to be i-m-p-r-e-s-s-e-d when they get a taste of the <em>real<\/em> thing? (P.S. Stay with me here, there&#8217;s some extra special sweetness\u00a0at the end of the recipe.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>HONEY GRAHAM CRACKERS<br \/>\nPREP TIME: 20 MINUTES<br \/>\nCOOK TIME: 10 MINUTES<br \/>\nMAKES: 60 CRACKERS<\/p>\n<p>1\u00bc\u00a0 cups flour<br \/>\n1\u00bc\u00a0 cups whole-wheat flour<br \/>\n1\/3 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0t baking powder<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0 t baking soda<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0 t salt<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0 cup salted butter<br \/>\n2\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0T honey<br \/>\n2\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0T molasses<br \/>\n1\/3\u00a0 cup canned coconut milk<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0t coconut extract<\/p>\n<p>1. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.<br \/>\n2. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.<br \/>\n3. In a medium pan, warm the butter, honey, molasses, and coconut milk just enough to combine. Add the coconut extract.<br \/>\n4. Pour the milk mixture all at once into the flour mixture. Stir until the mixture is gathered into a ball.<br \/>\n5. Turn the dough out onto a surface and knead gently, folding and pressing for 12 to 15 strokes. Divide dough into smaller pieces and roll each piece between two pieces of parchment paper to 1\/8\u201d thickness.<br \/>\n6. Cut with a 2\u00bc\u201d round cookie cutter. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 minutes, or until crackers are slightly crisp.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gather ingredients.
