\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0 cup butter, softened
\n1\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0cup sugar
\n2\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0eggs
\n1 \u00a0\u00a0 large grapefruit
\n1\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0cup sour cream
\n1\u00be cup flour
\n\u00bc\u00a0\u00a0 t baking soda
\n\u00bc\u00a0\u00a0 t salt<\/p>\n

Icing
\n1\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0T sour cream
\n\u00be\u00a0\u00a0 cup powdered sugar
\n1\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0T grapefruit juice<\/p>\n

1. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. In a medium bowl or stand mixer, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
\n2. Juice the grapefruit and measure out \u00bd a cup of juice (reserve another 1 T for the icing). In a small bowl, whisk together the \u00bd cup of grapefruit juice and the sour cream.
\n3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
\n4. Alternate adding the flour and sour cream mixtures to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
\n5. Lightly butter 6-8 oz oven-safe teacups and divide batter evenly between them. Place teacups on a cookie sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
\n6. For the icing, combine sour cream, powdered sugar and grapefruit juice in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth. Pour over the cakes and enjoy!<\/p>\n
