I feel pretty certain that you and I are both still stuck at poly<\/i> …<\/p>\n

Polyphiloprogenitive, was it?<\/p>\n

Thank goodness for a computer’s “copy” and “paste” functions (I dare not re-type that one on my own).<\/p>\n

This term\u2014polyphiloprogenitive (see, I pasted again!)\u2014is one of those words whose meaning a farmgirl can glean from context,<\/p>\n

particularly when the context involves garden weeds (think extremely prolific<\/em>),<\/p>\n

but that doesn’t make saying it<\/i> any easier.<\/p>\n

A syllabic breakdown is in order.<\/p>\n
