Preheat oven to 250\u00b0F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.<br \/>\n2. In a small bowl, combine salt, shallot, and garlic. Spread over prepared baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until shallot and garlic are golden brown.<br \/>\n3. Cool shallot mixture slightly and transfer to a food processor or blender (mixture will be clumpy).<br \/>\n4.
