The service, launched in late March and currently testing in the Seattle market, falls under the lawn and garden section in Amazon\u2019s Home Services and is called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/s\/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&amp;field-keywords=hire+a+goat+grazer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hire a Goat Grazer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_56440\" style=\"width: 269px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56440\" class=\"wp-image-56440 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raisingjane.org\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/goats-at-work.jpg\" alt=\"goats at work\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-56440\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">goats on the hillside via rentaruminant.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Customers interested in this eco-friendly service are asked to answer a few questions, then Amazon sends an e-mail with estimated prices and times available for service. Seattle-based company<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rentaruminant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Rent-A-Ruminent<\/a> then delivers goats to your home and sets up fencing and a water source for them while they lunch.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_56442\" style=\"width: 380px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56442\" class=\"wp-image-56442 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raisingjane.org\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/goats-at-work-2.jpg\" alt=\"goats at work 2\" width=\"370\" height=\"278\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-56442\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">goats enjoying lunch via rentaruminant.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Goat owner Tammy Dunakin says the goats\u00a0will immediately begin to eat most of what&#8217;s in their path, and what they leave behind, she will clear herself. Many of Tammy\u2019s furry crew are rescue goats, and she takes good care of them. Her original herd of 10 goats has now grown to 120. Tammy\u2019s goats are often seen clearing foliage along Seattle interstates, and Seattle City Light uses them to clear terrain that would otherwise be too dangerous for workers or machinery.
