Then she nannied for us and traveled to Toronto, Chicago, and Honolulu with us. She also worked in our brick-and-mortar store during her years in college. But she&#8217;s officially all grown up now!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_57139\" style=\"width: 370px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57139\" class=\"wp-image-57139\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raisingjane.org\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Photo-Jun-26-8-05-48-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-57139\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jordan with three of her flower girls on the eve of her wedding day.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When Jordan and Kyle asked Lucas to officiate their wedding\u00a0in front of the 400 guests they&#8217;d invited, he was honored, but worried he might choke up. He did, and it was a beautiful day. I got to help in the planning of the occasion, and the girls were flower girls.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57140\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raisingjane.org\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Photo-Jun-28-2-28-11-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Photo Jun 28, 2 28 11 PM\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" \/>As we watched them make their way across the dance floor as Mr. and Mrs., I was\u00a0reminded of the beauty of how it all works out, thankful to have been part of their day, and reminded of our own day almost 11 years ago and the dear friendships we&#8217;ve made along the way.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57142\" src=\"http:\/\/www.raisingjane.org\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Photo-Jun-27-8-30-26-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Photo Jun 27, 8 30 26 PM\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" \/>\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first time we met Jordan, she was a senior on the girls&#8217; basketball team that my hubby, Lucas, was coaching (they won state that year).
