Before adding the green onions and asparagus, we saut\u00e9ed them in about 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, and then added them right before serving, along with the bok choy.<\/p>\n<p>CURRY SOUP BASE<br \/>\n4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 14 oz cans coconut milk<br \/>\n1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 cup chicken stock<br \/>\n4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ozs Thai Kitchen brand curry paste<br \/>\n2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 T ginger root, peeled, and grated<br \/>\n1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 t salt<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 t dried red pepper flakes<br \/>\n\u00bc\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 cup cornstarch<br \/>\n2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 T cold water<br \/>\n\u00bd\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 lemon<br \/>\n1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 lime<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>1. In a large stockpot, combine coconut milk, chicken stock, curry paste, ginger root, salt, and dried red pepper flakes.<br \/>\n2. Bring mixture to a boil. In a small bowl mix the cornstarch and cold water together, and slowly add to the boiling soup base while whisking.<br \/>\n3. Let soup base continue to boil to thicken.
