CSAs

Here are three little letters with big meaning:

CSA

Before I tell you what they mean, let me ask you this …

… how much do you love having fresh, organic produce for yourself and your family?

I’m imagining you’re shouting, “We love that a lot, MaryJane!”

So here’s another question …

… how much would you love having fresh, organic produce every week?

ABOUT today’s photo-of-the-day

I found the brass canister at the bottom of this lamp as shiny as the day it was born on a shelf with my mother-in-law’s daintiest of memorabilia and travel souvenirs, things like glass figurines and hankies. “Huh?” I asked my husband. He explained that when he was …

What a wonderful story and a great piece of history to have! Surely, it will “light the way” to many more great stories and fond memories of the past!
    Thanks for sharing!

interspecies love

Dang it, I missed the close-up photo of my mini-horse, Nutmeg, sleeping with her head on the tummy of my mini-Jersey bull, Milky Way. As I approached them with my camera to get on the downhill side, they rustled, stood up, and then came over to see …

by any other name

Do any of you have a partner who is constantly inventing new endearing names when referring to you? This morning hubby Nick called me “noodle padoogle.” His usual name for me is sugar, pronounced chew-gar. No cigar? Please share! I want to surprise him with some new names.

  1. Liddi says:

    Pumpshkin 🙂

  2. My hubby calls me “Nut”. It is short for “Honey Nut”. Of course, he didn’t shorten it to Honey because, well, after all, I’m a nut!

  3. Debi Chandler says:

My husband is my “Baby Boy” which is quite funny since I am barely 4’11” and he is 6’2″.
