  2. BB king says:

Yes this is the type of barn people think of when they think American barn. Here in Amishland in Lanacster County PA the barns are always white.

Oh the GREEN! What a lovely shot of your area of the country as Summer unfolds!

    HI MaryJane and Happy Friday!!

  2. Sandi King says:

I think this is the best “picture of the day” I have seen in a while. It soothes the soul while exciting the imagination and you just want to walk along beside this stream and enjoy the day for what it is. I wish I had this close to me so I could walk beside it or sit and listen to the sounds of nature.

These recent photos of plants and birds have been awesome! The detail of these white blooms is such an awesome peek at the incredible intricacies of Mother Nature.

  2. Mary Rauch says:

I’m having trouble identifying this blossom…Is it cherry?…sorry to be a dummy. The photo is so beautiful.

    • MaryJane says:

It looks like an ornamental cherry to me. Our electricity was out all day last week so Karina and Cydnie drove around the Palouse taking photos. I will check to see if it’s one of our trees or something taken on the road.

Is this the end of a old piece of wood? Or a dried fungus? I am thinking wood but not sure. There are concentric circles as well as spokes radiating from the center. Fascinating!

    • MaryJane says:

Why, it’s a blue moon. Actually, it’s a piece of fence post, a brace, that is weathered just so. Good morning Winnie!

  2. Faye brown says:

I must. Say Mary Jane; you can make anything look fabulous.
