    oh my that brings back memories of when I was an estate manager of a 1200 acre circa 1703 spread , the stone walls which were everywhere were smothered in ancient concord grapes. I made so much grape jam and jelly and variations on a theme of them that i was stained purple up to my elbows!

    My vote is for a Blue Ribbon!! Look at our apples ripening at MJF in time for the upcoming September Farmgirl Apple Festival. Whoop!!

    The apples look great! We had rose chaffers in the spring and most of our apples won’t make it. Too bad to as there were so many blossoms!

  3. how lovely! my apples from my antique apple tree have all starting to fall off. I hope some will stay and I can have apples this fall.
