Only the best in clothespins! I love mine and they hold heavy items like no other brand.

Such a lovely and peaceful view.

Farmgirl Hugs, MaryJane!! I hope your final book work is going well. We are batting down the hatches and dreaming of Monday night when the storm blows onward to Georgia. Looks like nobody is going to be spared misery if you live in this quadrant of the Southeast! Forced camping for most of us for who knows how long!! I expect we will lose power for some days, so I will check back in when we get online. The storm hits us Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. Let’s hope it moves quickly up the road and loses strength with each mile over land!

    • MaryJane says:

So, not heading out it sounds like. Hmmmmm. Anything we can do to help, besides worrying non-stop?

    • MaryJane says:

So, you’re not leaving it sounds like???? Anything we can do to help besides worrying about you non-stop?

      • Winnie Nielsen says:

This part of the state is not in any recommended evacuation area because we are in the middle of the northern part(about 1 1/2 hours from the Georgia state line). For sure we will get bad winds and 3-6 inches of rain, but we get that sort of thing when the bad spring storms happen. Plus, we are not on the worst side of the storm which means it won’t be as bad as it will be on both coasts. I just finished listening to the governor’s update and nothing has changed for this area. As a matter of fact, we are sheltering thousands from the south in our town and hotels. Again, if the governor gives us a different message, we are ready to head out. But this area is basically a shelter in place location because of our inland location. Try not to worry, I am doing plenty of that for you and lots of other members of my family.

I think I might do a chocolate run later today just to have it handy for when the storm is actually passing by.

        • MaryJane says:

Thanks Winnie for giving good details about your situation. I’ll worry a little less now. Chocolate for sure. I’ll eat some for you.

Love that sunset? Can’t tell as that could be either here–sunrise or sunset!
Just to let Winnie know we’re all praying for all of you in Florida. Keep safe, sister! And enjoy all the chocolate you can.
