Nice picture, does not look so evil as some, could be very enjoyable for children and adults.

Is this the window where hay was hoisted into the barn? Or perhaps an attic window of an old house for a similar purpose for some sort of storage?

This looks inviting to me. A delicious cup of coffee is simple but can kick start a day like nothing else.

Happy Friday the 13th! this photo looks like the house I lived in Vermont. It dated to the 1700’s and I don’t think they painted it more than twice since it was built!

  2. Winnie Nielsen says:

Lovely shabby chic look on this structure. All it needs no are some big random Rose bushes growing outside .

I had a great time yesterday at the state park of the Murrell House. It lives to tell the story of an Englishman who marries a Cherokee in the 1840s and their life and troubles through the Civil War. My friend is a volunteer docent here for events . She brings her spinning wheel and yarn and demonstrates dying the wool and then spinning it into skeins of yarn. Everyone gets to dress in period clothing . I was fascinated with the whole place. It is a true local treasure thatustherwal deal!!

Such a nice vintage piece. It looks like a possible screen door?? I love the old wood and simple handle.

    Happy Friday, MaryJane!

    • MaryJane says:

TGIF here. I do believe that’s a photo Cydnie took of the handle on the screen door on our sewing cottage. You’ll be gripping that again some day:) Or it might be the handle on our little store that I hope to have some time to work in today. Both book and mag were sent this week! No more deskgirl duties for me for a few days. Farmgirl only!!!!!

  2. Winnie Nielsen says:

How did I miss that photo being the door on the sewing cabin??!!!!!!! Is the store the one that you moved from Moscow that I also adore? I wish I had been able to see it and shop there. I just loved the photos of it and the quaint size and all. My kinda place.

HooRay for no current desk duties for you!!! It must be such a free feeling to know you have several days to choose whatever else you have been itching’ to get caught up on. Enjoy every project you decide to do and when you are at the barn, please give my Miss Daisy a nice rub behind her ears for me. Farmgirl Only! I like that. It has a nice ring to it too.
