Raising a healthy Jane comes from good food and proper nutrition. Grab your aprons, I’m on kitchen duty with food to spare and recipes to share! Every Friday, as reliable as the sun, you’ll find one of my how-to-convert-to-an-organic-diet meals in your inbox, just in time for your weekend fixings.
All proceeds (minus shipping and packing) will benefit www.firstbook.org, a non-profit that provides new books to children from low-income families throughout the U.S. and Canada.
MaryJane will post a photo of the prop and its cost here along with a few details as to its condition. The first person to call the farm and talk with Brian, 208-882-6819, becomes the new owner of a little bit of herstory. Shipping will be either USPS or UPS, our choice. No returns.
What a pretty face on this Jersey, which one is she?
HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY to all my fellow farmgirls!!
She is a new cow in milk, due to deliver August 5. She’s very gentle–an awesome cow. M’lady is her name. She came from Iowa. Her milk has lots of cream in it.
thanks MaryJane! Give a kiss to M’lady
I am waiting for April the Giraffe to give birth,( well me and about a million others!) Been snowed in for days so lots of viewing of April, haha. Just got dug out and hoping the baby doesn’t come till I get home from Dr appt, etc
Anyone who says animals do not have souls has never looked into the soft, gentle eyes of a cow.
