Toronto Trip

Good morning Canada!

From my hotel window, I looked down on the Toronto City Hall with its extensive vegetable garden on the roof. How cool is that?

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Marriott just off Trinity Square—a church that has been surrounded …

Looks like such a lovely city! I have never been, but your post has made me add it to one of the places I’d now like to see.
Thank you for the photo journey.
    Hugs,

My husband and I visited Toronto and it is a very cool city! We loved all of the diversity of old and new mixed together. And for sure the Canadians are lovely people and getting about in Canada is so easy because people are friendly and helpful. I loved all of the photos you shared and so happy that your trip was a success!

  3. Kathy S says:

Thank-you for sharing your photos of Toronto. I live a couple of hours away from the city. It’s a very interesting place. So glad you and your family enjoyed your stay.

Look what showed up!

Look what pulled up to our B&B this past weekend. Adorable! A glamping couple from Washington stopped here to spend a couple of nights. They were ready for one of our hot outdoor bathtubs and campfire organic breakfasts.

What a totally adorable trailer!! The couple must be having a fabulous summer tooling about. I am always amazed at how accommodating these little homes on wheels can be. And the owner has glammed it up so perfectly too. No doubt, they enjoyed all of your B&B hospitality. Ahhh, those organic campfire breakfasts must have been a slice of heaven!

PS How am I doing with the restrained use of those tempting !!!!! Points?? Ha!

  2. Shery says:

Custom glampers reflect the fun part of their owner’s personality. LOVE to look at all the indiviual touches of who they are. This little honey is a DOLL. My dream is to see MJF HOMEbase…and I can’t imagine doing it in my trailer. MAyyyyyybe someday :o)

  3. Cathy says:

Oh my goodness!! I love their trailer, what fun that must be!! Makes me want to go out and find an old trailer to fix up, are they the original owners? Thanks for sharing!!

    • Ace says:

Desert Glamping

What an awesome postcard! Big thanks to Birdie #1301, CJ Armstrong’s daughter
(CJ was our Sister of the Year 2010), for making this postcard
and putting a HUGE smile on my face. 😀

  1. CJ says:

Thanks for posting that pic, Mary Jane! It was an AWESOME “Tent-Glamping” time for Robin and me. That big beautiful saharo cactus was an “attraction” out the back door of our glamp-canopy! And, the saharo cactus grows ONLY in the Sonoran Desert and in the spring has beautiful white blossoms on the very tippy-tops of the main section and all of the “arms” of the cactus.
    CJ

    • MaryJane says:

Well, thank YOU for sending. And thanks for giving me “license” to publish your other pic in upcoming mag. Front and center.

  2. CJ says:

Really? “front and center” . . . how fun!!!
“Birdie” and I are about to embark on another “tent-glamping” adventure, the first week in July, right here in COOL, COLORFUL Colorado.
Yup and yessiree . . we’ll be posting pics of that in Outpost!
    Thanks again!
    CJ

L cause you’re the only love for me …

Continuing from my last post, G is for the way you glamp with me …

Here’s what was left of our glamping clan for National Glamping Weekend. Sadly, this was taken as we were packing up to head back home on Sunday.

  1. Winnie Nielsen says:

It all looks like such a fabulous weekend event!! Love those matching T-shirts too. They are just adorable!! Banana bread french toast over the open fire?? That sounds delicious! I hope you will sponsor this event again next year so those of us on the other side of the US can plan ahead and save up to come.

    • MaryJane says:

Hold that date! We’ll be there, the first weekend in June. (June 1 & 2 I think.) There are little cabins to rent for those without trailers/tents. One of the Sisters (who came from Nevada) flew into the Spokane airport and rented a car. Easy. We’ll get the details up on http://www.internationalglampingweekend.com sometime in July. Would LOVE to have you Winnie.

  2. It looks like you had such a great time. I hope to join you, some other time. I love the T-Shirts!

  3. Lora says:

Does that little boy in the last picture have horns growing out of his head?

  4. Lynnie C. says:

Those of us from The Loyal Order of the Glamper, Midwest Division, also had a fabulous time! I wish I could post pictures from our “Fabulous Flamingos” contest – we had everything ranging from a baby Fla. in a diaper to a five foot inflatable – but THAT is something I can’t figure out! Matching T’s and Banana Bread French Toast sound grand for next year! Thanks for the inspirations, MaryJane! Love ya!

    • MaryJane says:

Lynnie!!!!! So good to hear from you, the glamping MADAME herself!!!!! We are one:) A baby flamingo in a diaper? You trend setter you.
