Tough question Mary Jane about what I most look forward to when sitting down with an issue of your fabulous magazine…I eagerly read Dr. Laura Koniver’s Health and Wellness articles and see how I can incorporate the healthy living ideas into my life. I also really enjoy the tips on Simple Solutions. I feel like I’m sitting down and chatting with friends about great ideas they’ve picked up from their grandmothers, or gleamed from some interesting article they’ve read since the last time we were together.
‘Can’t wait for the next issue!

I love color, smell, and significance of lemons. The color is happy. The smell is clean. The meaning or significance is that it represents cleaning and purifying. the love to read and Mary Jane Farm because of the great and creative ideas. The have them as a resource for projects and they create dreams.

Mary Jane there are just so many in your magazine, it is hard to decide, but in this last issue I went straight to Collect It, Vintage Sewing Machines as the article on them in a previous issue encouraged me to look for them. While in a ReUse store I saw this treadle Singer sewing machine sitting there waiting for me – ME. I was there with my son and we were looking for things we needed to continue work on our home and I had already shown him the article on Vintage Sewing Machines. I was in our van but we bought the machine and put it in the back after we lowered the back seat. And there she rode all the way home. I love her. She was in a very good condition but needed the belt which I purchased thanks to your Magazine and the blogs online. The lemon wreath is very colorful, a breath of spring. I think it would brighten up a kitchen very nicely. Maybe we could find a way to make one for those of us who don’t win. Thanks for a great magazine. I ordered a subscription for my sister-in-law and she told me she loves it.

  19. Meagan Jean Johnson says:

The first thing I look for when I receive my magazine it some new project to do. I love the pictures and ideas, and I have made some of the projects….(ie) I made the egg apron for my neighbor girl. She is raising free range chickens and selling the eggs to the neighborhood. We live in a very rural area near Kings Canyon/Sequoia Park and love nature and natural foods and garmets.

  23. Karen Murray says:

It’s everything. I love the crafting and sewing ideas, the recipes. After reading an article in your magazine about bees, (3 years ago), I ordered my information and started caring and raising honey bees. Last fall we harvested 75 lbs. of honey. I have recently been convicted of my need to be a good steward of the small piece of land we have and the animals we care for. When I read the articles in the magazine I feel that same belief from the folks that put this magazine together. Thank you.

  24. Sunnie says:

Everything! I don’t recall having not read MJF cover to cover. I have your books as well & continuously go back to them again & again. I’ve been crafting, sewing, knitting, gardening and cooking since childhood. At my mother’s/grandmother’s knee or any relative’s/friends willing to teach me! I’ll be 52 Easter Sunday & still willing to try anything at least once! You bring something NEW to every craft, recipe or project in every issue. But my most favorite of all is that you have your daughter by your side! Mine is still in college, but she’s now beginning to understand the joy & self satisfaction being creative & sharing it w/ everyone! Thank you for your continuous inspiration!

I would love to win this wreath to give it to my mother-in-law to put on her door at her new home in Golden Age Nursing facility. She’d be the talk of her hall. Thank you for your magazine and give-aways.
