Chipped nail polish, worn-out soles, split ends … everything gets a little beat up now and then, and the same is true for books and magazines.
These poor souls just didn’t survive bumps in the road, the jostle of UPS boxes, the printing press and/or were squished in an overt display of misjudged stacking.
This particular Glamping with MaryJane book was feelin’ a little bent out of shape, or so it appears. The rest of the pages are in purrrfffect condition, you won’t miss this blank polka dot page, will you? There are 224 more pages to look at! The first person to leave me the comment “polka dot” gets this book.
Same with this copy of my mother’s Ideabook, Cookbook, Lifebook. Juuuusssssst a sticky page or two later and the rest is good as gold, right as rain, cloudy with a chance of meatballs, you get the idea. You want it? The first person who hollers out “shilly shally” gets this one!
Shilly shally!
Shilly shally!! I would LOVE to have a copy of Mary Jane’s Idea, Cookbook, Lifebook!

“The anticipation builds as the time draws near when my MaryJane magazine appears in my mailbox. I devour it over and over again!”
Travelinma, thanks for posting and watch for an e-mail from the farm.
I resonate with her words ” I devour it over and over”. I think there are many of us that agree with this statement 100%!!
Love your posts!
When I key open our box and the MJF’s magazine is tucked inside…my heart races! Or, does it skip a beat as I take in a breath?
My thought bubble ~ Oh, it’s here! What does it have to say? What am I going glean from it this time?
I quickly walk back to our apartment with a lightness in my step. I sit in a comfy spot and turn the outside cover page open to peruse the table of contents. The mag feels good to the touch as well as being eye candy. It is a most wonderful place for me to be in as I read it voraciously from cover to cover in the span of a couple of hours.
Of course, I must read it over and over!
I absolutely love the magazine! I am a better person for it. Soon, I will enter the Sisterhood. I am truly a farm girl…if not physically, then at heart.
It’s a blue sky, smooth sailing, gentle ride kind of day when you win a one-year subscription to:

Chipped nail polish, worn-out soles, split ends … everything gets a little beat up now and then, and the same is true for books and magazines.
We have a stack of poor souls that just didn’t survive the bumps in the road, the jostle of UPS boxes, and/or were squished in an overt display of misjudged stacking.
Our loss is your gain.
Well, I don’t have a Frances and I know nothing about Glamping….but what girl doesn’t like a good give-away!
Meg, these are fabulous and fun opportunities to get some of the BEST books for FarmGirls. I love the glamping book but sadly know nobody named Frances. I own an Ideabook but know someone who would relish a copy. It is so fun to look everyday to see what might be available to put my name in the hat for. Yay for seconds!
I used to work with a Frances back when I was a budding bookkeeper and also a (gulp!) teenager. But I’ve never known one since!
Well, I could say “Yes” . . . but it wouldn’t be true!! 😀
YES! My SIL is Frances Marie and her birthday is July 19th. She lives in Dallas, TX.
We don’t glamp but had family campouts every Memorial and Labor day weekends for years in Oklahoma. The glamping trailers would of been wonderful compared to the tents that seemed to leak in the heavy spring rains! Great memories though! Thanks for your generosity! Cathy in Orofino
Love your mag and read it over n over til the next one comes. I would LUV to go glamping cross country to your fab B&B but I really need the instruction manual!! Oh, by the way, I had a sweet aunt Frances, rip.
My best friend in high school (a very long time ago), was Frances Turner. She is no longer a ‘Turner’ but still a very good friend and a great grandma. We still stay in touch over the miles and years and I love her dearly. She NEEDS this book…lol.
Congratulations to all of the lucky gals who won! Enjoy!
Hugs,
Laurie
Farmgirl must haves on your shelves! Enjoy ,and happy project and cooking days for you this summer!!
I love the book the Glamping. My husband and I have camping for a year we love it. Our camping is vintage with a little modern. I love your stories and your pictures. Thank you again.
How exciting and congratulations to the winners! I’m slowly savoring my way through “Glamping.” Oh, my gosh, I want to hit the road! Thanks, MaryJane!!!
