I was given your book a few months back from my father.. he was cleaning out a warehouse and brought it to me! I haven’t had a chance to sit and actually read anything lately with 2 toddlers.. but it sure made me HUNGRY and ready for the “simple life!”

I purchase your wonderful magazine locally, always loving every word of it. It reminds me of growing up in Tennessee, working with my great aunt and uncle on the farm. There is something to learn or relearn in every story. I pass them on to my girlfriends and co workers hoping they enjoy it as much as I do. Of course I always hope it finds its way back to me.

I recently moved to a new little town. While checking out the local grocery store I saw MaryJanesFarm. I immediately bought it and have read it through many times. Raised in the country I now live just outside a little town. No land of my own, but I am a farm girl at heart.
Ever since my summer living in Idaho along the Lochsa River with my hubby studying wild salmon and my birthday surprise of going to MaryJane’s Farm Fair, I have looked forward to the magazine coming in the mail.

I cannot remember how I found you though it was 9 years ago when my daughter was first born, I had read Supersize Me, given up fast food and changed my eating habits. Your magazine was mostly ready made foods, perfect for a new mom trying to find a faster way. I ordered your oatmeal then and devour your magazine now. My husband climbs & backcountry ski’s with your food in his pack. I love everything that you are. The inspiration you provide is endless. Often I leave my finished copy of your magazine places for others to discover, as well as, shamelessly recommending it to someone in line at a co-op. I hope it gives them joy and the urge to pass it on too. This magazine feels like a great secret everyone should know about. Three years ago we planned a trip to Moscow finding out after you had closed to the public that year. We drove up your driveway anyway, just to peek. None the less we enjoyed Pullman next door and the Moscow Farmer’s Market. Thank you for encouraging me to own chickens, plant irises, stay informed about the perils of farmers, do it yourself ideas, working my hands in the soil, being part of a knitting/crochet group and learning to live in the moment. I request MJF mag from my library as often as possible! There is always a long waiting list though and I’d love to have a subscription of my very own! An avid reader, I’ve never come across a magazine that captures my heart like MJF does!

I really enjoy reading your magazines because they are just so inspirational. The photography is beautiful, and for me at least, it is such a treat to be able to sit down with a cup of tea and thumb through the pages.
I’ve been reading the magazine for a few years. It was a delightful surprise in our local bookstore’s magazine rack. I was hooked from the start! I love the recipes, craft ideas, the aprons (!), and, well, everything.
So glad to see each edition and my daughter and I talk about it over the phone. We used to exclaim over it in person and talk about the things we’d like to do or how it reminds us of things her great-grandmother lived! Now I am 300 miles away so we talk about the whole magazine over the phone! Love the magazine!!

I first found the magazine at the local Tractor Supply Store. I took it home and cried when I read it because there were others like me, who understood the farmgirl heart.

I like to buy different mags from time to time, and I saw this at Wal-Mart last month. My neighbors just adopted a stray dachshund (sp?) and the boy named him Mary Jane! So when I saw “MaryJane’s Farm” I had to buy it. We’ve fallen in love with the magazine and the lifestyle it promotes! I would love to win one of these prizes. Every month when my Mary Jane magazine arrives I always shout, “Oh, goodie.” I love all the articles and learn many new things in each issue. I even enjoy the ads with the beautiful colors and classy verbage. I love that Mary Jane’s daughter adds so much and enjoy reading all about the wonderful talent that so many women have. I savor each issue and even my hubby likes reading it.
I am a long time fan, bought one of the first issues, but it has gotten even better along the way. I love that you have crafts and ideas that do not require a lot of expense, and are recycled. Ive subscribed to your magazine for a couple of years now. There is always something new to learn everytime I get a magazine. Whether its the organic gardening, livestock (especially chickens, I raise them myself) or herbs I find myself at the end of each article, saying wow I did not know that. I keep the magazine so I can refer back when needed. Its just a fun light hearted magazine that I will always subscribe to. Thank you.

I have subscribed to Mary Janes Farm magazine in previous years, and would love to win a subscription. The economy turned a few years ago, and little luxuries (like your mag) went out the window, and this previous stay at home mom is now a full time college student, and part time worker, as well as a parent. I would be overjoyed to be able to once again enjoy your magazine. The content, and photographs bring me back to my authentic self, and allow me to stay in touch with who I truly am, even though at the moment I’m stuck in the rat race. <3
I LOVE this Mag. We were given the subscription as a gift and it just ran out. I have learned so much from reading the articles and omg the helpful tips! Love them! I go back and read my magazines from time to time when I need reference. It has really helped this city girl turned farm girl make the most out of her 30 acres!
I love the spirit this magazine awoke in me. It brought me out of my rut and reminded me of everything I loved about my visits to grandma in the country. It’s a reminder of the innate talents we all possess to live sustainably. Everything we currently think we “need” is falsehood. I’m blessed to have found your magazine before the birth of my daughter. Now, I’ll be sure to raise her with a love of living simply. I love that MJF has opened the doors to new friendships as well. I have never seen a copy of your magazine but a friend told me all about it. It sounds like it might be the magazine for me. We moved from the city to the country and I would love to curl up on my porch swing with a cup of tea and read it from cover to cover.

We live on a 1/2 acre in a very small Colorado town. We still have gravel roads. 🙂 I try to put up as much produce as I can grow. My elderly parents live with my husband and I, so my mom helps as much as she can. She tends to her beautiful flowers and I…to the veggies.
I recently ordered your chill over powder. I haven’t got to try it yet but I will soon. And “glamping”…..I want to go glamping so bad. 🙂 Maybe someday I will get to do that too.

Living on the Mediterranean coast in Spain, it can be difficult to live the cowgirl lifestyle but your magazine provides me with tons of inspiration. My home has loads of vintage and handmade treasures alongside the Euro-mod and my little garden is full of repurposed pots and pans and fruit crates and coffee pots. I discovered your publication at my mom’s on a visit home and always buy when in the US. Un saludo
I found a copy of Mary Jane’s Farm magazine in the Emergency Room waiting room while waiting for my husband (all is okay…. I dreaded the trip… but savored the magazine (and subsequently stole it from the waiting room) ). I looked up the website as soon as I got home (and santitized). I am a farm girl, born and raised, living on a 110 acre farm (well, not a working farm…. an evolving farm) adn an 1862 farmhouse in South Western New York State. I am embracing the thought of sustainable living, making healthy choices, and am looking forward to others who are looking to do the same 🙂 Thanks!

My sweet mama got me a subscription to Mary Jane’s Farm a couple years ago. Now I have my own little flock of back yard chickens and even though I’m in town I’ve realized that my inner farm girl can be alive and well, I’m nurturing her again! And I’m so happy! My two preteen daughters and I pour over every single issue! We chat about the articles, we try the recipes, they craft away. Someday when we are passing through we’d love to stop by…….
