  1. Linda says:

I have several winter past-times – my quilting and other fabric crafts are just one of them. I can often stay up way way past bedtime trying to put “just one more piece” into a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle. Or knit or crochet a nice cozy afghan as a gift – as it grows to completion it keeps me snuggly and warm. Or read a nice mystery – and I can find myself again staying awake way past bedtime because I have to find out what is happening and want to read “just one more page or chapter” to see if my guess on who-done-it is correct. I am now, like many other farmgirls, becoming addicted to the adult coloring books; trying to decide what colors and media to use and trying to stay within the lines.

  2. Rachel Gilbert says:

I have many things I enjoy inside in winter. My likes seem to be very similar to many of the comments I read.~~ Read a good book or a magazine like MJF. I usually do a puzzle in winter. Crocheting. I enjoy baking and cooking…..having a big pot of “something” simmering on the woodstove to have whenever we want after coming in from shoveling snow or taking a walk…can’t beat that! And of course…coloring….I’ve always done that, never stopped. I always colored Christmas coloring books with my kids when they were small, didn’t stop after they grew and left home! I was so happy to see those adult coloring books…yes, I have one or two. =^_^=
