My mom gave me this sage advice upon the birth of my first child. “The greatest gift you can give your children is to give them wings.” It works!
My mother had a sign that said just that as in your picture and every time I dusted where it sat it gave me encouragement: “When life gives you lemons make lemonade”.
My father always told me when I was discouraged, “Dolly if you don’t do anything you won’t make mistakes. Don’t be sad,be a doer. Make your mistakes But learn from them”.
I couldn’t choose so these are my two favorites, plus I have a favorite quote of my own.
