They are also, founders of Women Grow Ohio an organization that connects and unites women in agriculture including livestock farmers, vegetable and fruit growers, and urban homesteaders.

I’m loving FeatherEagleSky, the cosmetic line but honestly, there’s so many amazing women creating and running successful businesses. Such as Inner Wolf Jewelry, Gardens of the Sun, The Wild Pine, Meghan Currie, Kitty’s Bohemian Boutique and I could go on and on! I make a point of supporting small businesses!

The Re-finery in Kalispell, Montana. It is a ladies consignment clothing store. Michelle is the owner and I have enjoyed her business since I moved here in 2000. It used to be known as Ena’s, the previous owners name. I can recycle my clothing and purchase something “new”.

My favorite woman run business is my sisters Farm to Skin body balm business. The balm she makes is remarkable and it is all natural.

There is a beautiful shop in Gleason, Wi named “The Livingroom”. A lady runs this organic shop of seeds, flowers, homemade candles and trinkets. Wonderful ideas on things made from scraps, etc.

My favorite business is my own ! I do alterations and repairs, sew patches on uniforms – I love to sew ! I am also an independent consultant for PartyLite candles and love love love the fragrance and ambiance in our home. Not only do I work these two, I am a full time drug & alcohol treatment specialist in a male corrections facility.

There isn’t any competition between them, and in fact all of the consultants that they work with SUPPORT each other! It is so refreshing to see this happening, especially when our society tends to be so competitive.
