    Valentines day is my favorite way to show the one’s I love what they really mean to me by making cut out cookies, something I have been doing for years. It is the most relaxed holiday for me.

    Ice Cream. While I like lots of different desserts, I have to say Ice Cream is my favorite. I prefer Vanilla and homemade if I can get it. With Vanilla you can add whatever fruit or flavors you chose.

    Most loved desert has to be ice cream – hands down! Whether it’s in a milkshake – sundae or cone – yum! My youngest son loves to cook with cast iron at camp!

    My favourite dessert is a raw vegan cashew-based Cheesecake with a raspberry or strawberry coulee. Oh my goodness! It’s incredible! It’s so decadent and easy to digest! Yum!

    Favorite dessert? Are you joking? How can a rainbow choose its favorite stripe or a nonna choose her favorite grandbaby? Well… if I HAD to choose it would be the dessert I can always eat no matter how much food has come before it. Creme Brulee wins the day!!

    My favorite dessert would be a bread pudding my mom use to make. She would fry day old biscuits and mix them in a custard. It was wonderful.

    Coconut Ice Cream dessert w/ homemade sugar cookies. My husbands’ grandma had the best recipe for the cookies. We use them for just about every holiday there is. So soft, and always the best with ice cream, a big glass of milk, or all by themselves !

    I had my breakfast called “Birdies in a Basket” as a child. Still like it this way. Love the Heart cookie cutter idea. Looks so so cute like that. Yum, too!

    My coat was my Mom’s who died this last March. It is a brown quilted and lined car coat. She wore it often and now I do!

    My most loved dessert is custard! It is one of my comfort foods when I’m ill or sad. It reminds me of sitting at my grandma’s kitchen and smelling all the goodies she was making.There was always something good to taste, too.

    Besides Cherry pie…the Most fave dessert here is Peach Cobbler!! (My Husband’s Grandma’s recipe!) We also have a Peach Orchard & sell at Farm Markets … & I can & freeze them for use, and make Jam too. Have used a recipe for Peach Salsa, from another MJF Girltoo!! 🙂

    I have always loved chocolate cake, but once I found out I had celiac disease, I couldn’t eat regular cake. Then my lovely daughters found a delicious flourless chocolate cake–and it’s now my favorite, especially when they make it for me!

    My favorite dessert is pumpkin pie. My mom’s recipe has been passed down to me and is filled with wonderful spices: cloves, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, and mace. Pumpkin pie reminds me of many memorable Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

    How can you pick one? Each season brings on a different favourite! Spring Rhubarb Custard Pie, Summer ~ Fresh Berries, Thanksgiving ~ Mile High Pumpkin Pie, Christmas well it just has to be a little Chocolate!

    Black Walnut Cake with 7-minute frosting and coconut, made with my mother-in-law’s recipe. Yum. She cooked with a pinch of this and a dab of that, so it was hard getting that recipe written down to pass on to my children. The funny thing is that she used two large iron skillets to bake the layers, so it was a BIG cake, but enough to serve her large family.

    Mom always made me an Orange Kiss Me cake every year for my birthday. I haven’t had one since 1980 when I moved away from home. I have the recipe but have never made it since I know it wouldn’t taste as good as Mom’s did.
